On Saturday, April 2, Jennifer and I received a wonderful gift. (I hinted at it here.)

Jennifer was pregnant. This was a surprise for us, but a very welcome one. (In fact, we had already scheduled my vasectomy consul.)

Late last week, Jennifer started having some bleeding and cramps. Yesterday she had a blood test and today we went in for an ultrasound. It confirmed what we had already feared. We lost the baby.

We know God has a plan for good through this. That is His promise.

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose… 31What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:28, 31

I am also reminded of Romans 12:12.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Please keep us in your prayers as we grieve.

Thank you.
