Reality of Easter
Patient, hope-filled, assured anticipation. The sting of yesterday hangs heavy in the air. But tomorrow’s coming. And it changes everything!
Blessed Good Friday to you.
A blessed Maunday Thursday observance to you!
Here’s a video from the 2021 LCMS Life March online conference I took part in last March. (I was sitting in the corner of our old, empty house as I had some items to take care of there before we put it on the market.)
Here is a dialog presentation I did at the “Support After Abortion – Healing Virtual Conference” this morning.
We are God’s ambassadors and examples to the world of God’s grace, love, and forgiveness. That’s amazing – and terrifying! But through faith in Jesus, that’s what we are. And now that we have experienced that grace, love, and forgiveness, we get to share that with others, like traffickers, victims, ‘johns’,’ – all!
I jumped the gun on a recent tweet, making some assumptions and judgments. This post is my response and apology.
“Where’s Your Focus?”
Join us starting today at LifeBridge, to see where your focus is, and where it should be! Everything in our life (& death) should all bring Jesus and the Gospel glory. Is that your focus?
I hope to see y’all there!
You are invited to share a wonderful event and special day for me.
On Sunday, September 30, at 4:00 PM, I will be installed as the pastor of LifeBridge Community Lutheran Church in Sealy, Texas! (Directions here.)
Join us for the service and stay for a meal following!
We’re strapped in and ready to go!!
As many of you have probably heard by now, God’s people at LifeBridge Community Lutheran Church in Sealy, Texas, have issued a Divine Call to me to serve as their pastor. They did this last Sunday, August 5.
Of course, I also continue to have my Divine Call to serve God’s people at St. Mark Lutheran Church & School in Houston, Texas.
These are both exciting ministries with wonderful people and Jen and I openly solicit your prayers, your thoughts and anything the Lord may be leading you to share with me.
Many thanks and blessings!
