Good morning! This is Pastor Heitshusen with a great reminder. This Sunday, June 14, St. Mark is privileged to host the ordination service of St. Mark’s own, Paul Tonn. St. Mark has helped and seen Paul grow in the Lord over the years and supported him in his studies to be a pastor. His preparation […]

  • Wednesday Noon Services Discontinued

It is always difficult to discontinue a ministry option when some still receive benefit from it. However, at this time we are unable to continue offering the noon service time on Wednesdays, effective immediately. The Wednesday evening service time will remain and is unaffected by this decision. In Christ,Pastor Scott

  • Bethesda & Pysanky Eggs

We celebrated the ministries of Bethesda last Sunday. It was a wonderful event! This is an artform that dates back in the […]

  • Record Voters’ Meeting!

I think I witnessed a record Voters’ Meeting today. From beginning to end it was under 30 minutes (probably closer to 25 minutes) including a budget change and a motion from the floor to move toward changing our Minister of Music from part time to full time at Trinity. I’m amazed. — Yea, God!

  • Wednesday Night’s Service

Service Wednesday night went well. We had a good turn out and got to discuss a lot of good issues (though not all that we wanted to). Probably the only hard and fast conclusion we came to was that these are difficult decisions and must be approached and made with God’s guidance and under His […]

Tonight during the service we will be discussing “(End of) Life Issues” including Terri Schiavo, living wills, abortion, disabilities as they relate to these items, […]

  • Christian Education

Thursday evening last week (March 31) Daniel’s school, Prince Avenue Christian School (associated with the Baptist church – oh, my!) had their Spring banquet and fundraiser. It reiterated for both of us the utmost importance of Christian education. A child’s world view is fairly set by age 13. By that time they are being affected […]
